Elixir is not 100% an organic product as this would not make it a cost effective product. We use quality ingredients in our bases (vegetable based products only) and our oils are all natural (without being diluted). The word ‘organic’ is hugely misunderstood and abused. Re generating anti Ageing Cream
This cream is designed to condition and repair your skin. It is designed for skins that are beginning to show signs of ageing. It is a preventative cream for premature ageing. It can be used over day moisturizer or it can also be used as an alternative to a night cream.

Collagen Cream
This cream is designed for skins that already show signs of ageing. It contains collagen from the acacia plant that helps to plump up the skin as well as hematite that boosts the production of your skins own collagen. Hematite is also very nourishing to an ageing skin! In order to keep the skin looking plump you will need to regularly apply this cream. Ideal for before going out! It can be used as an add on cream no matter what range of products you are using. It can be applied either once or twice daily on top of your moisturizer.

B20 Anti Ageing cream
This cream is to help those who are starting too late! They already have lots of wrinkles! This cream contains an active called Argireline which is a man made product (amino peptide link) that acts as a dermal relaxant (or topical botox action). In needs to be applied twice a day for the first 3 weeks and there after only once a day. It works best on fine wrinkles as they are easier to ‘relax’. This cream will visibly improve the wrinkles on your face, especially the fine ones.

Yes. Some families like to buy the 500ml Balancing Cleanser for the whole family to use and then use the day and night moisturizers that suit the individuals skins. The Balancing Cleanser is good to use on a hormonal skin together with the Hydrating Day and Night Moisturizer if the skin is dry.

We use all preservatives and the smallest % possible in all our creams. The range does not contain parabens as a preservative except for the Pro Collagen Repair cream and the Lift and Boost Décolleté cream. The reason for this is that the raw material ‘collagen’ can be difficult to stabilize and it is difficult to find a preservative that agrees with it. The parabens we have used in this cream successfully keep it stable and therefore do not want to make changes to these cream.

Skins around 45 years benefit most from using the Age Defying B20 cream over the whole surface of the face, however this cream absorbs easily into the skin and does not cause ‘cream pouches’ under the eyes making it a very effective eye cream for those who are only showing signs of ageing in this area. The Pro Collagen repair cream can also successfully be used around the eye area.

The Purifying Eye and Lip Balm contains pure essential oils combined in a water based gel. This makes absorption easy (thus plumping and hydrating the area). It is not for the lips but rather for the skin surrounding the lips. Ideal for skin damage from smoking! Apply along the bone surrounding the eye socket as this is where the cream is best absorbed into the skin.

Toning is a great way to keep ALL SKIN TYPES in balance. Not only does toner PH balance the skin and remove any residue cleanser, it also hydrates the skin. Elixir’s toner is in a spritz bottle making it easy to use. It contains no alcohol and thus cannot cause irritation to the skin. Toning helps to exercise the pores of your skin (the coolness causes contraction after cleansing) and improves blood flow. It also makes your products last longer due to the hydrating and balancing it offers allows you to use less product after toning.

Elixir’s philosophy is to stimulate the skin to bring it to balance. Soapy cleansers make ones skin feel clean due to the drying nature of them. In fact a soapy cleanser is sending a message to the sebum that it is dry and needs to secrete more moisture! Exactly what an oily skin DOES NOT need. Elixir’s cleanser balances the skin and is as easy to remove as a foaming cleanser.

Both cleansers (hydrating / balancing) make excellent eye make up removers. They are very gentle and will not cause irritation to the eye area. Try it.

Both creams contain the same actives – the acacia plant (collagen) and the hematite (to boost your own collagen). The lift and boost contains a higher % of the actives and is formulated in a shea butter (richer) base than the collagen cream.

The Lift and Boost can also be used as a facial mask twice a month. It can be used twice a day on the neck and décolleté area and gives the face a nice boost as a mask from time to time. Simply cleanse and tone and place a thick layer of the Lift and Boost to the facial area. Leave on for 15 minutes and wipe of excess or massage excess into the skin.

Elixir’s philosophy is one of layering depending on what your skin needs. The Harmonizing Facial Oil is an ideal add on for skins that are prone to excessive dryness. It can either be added (a few drops) into your night moisturizer as you need or it can be applied under your day and/or your night moisturizer. It absorbs easily into the skin and will not leave your skin shiny. This is because only the finest quality essentials oils are used and are very pure. The essential oils molecular make up is very similar to owns own which makes it absorb easily and deeply into the skin. Combined with the Derma Gel Treatment it is a wonderful way to treat your skin.

Elixir products work best when combined with Elixir products as the philosophy behind these products are to the essentials oils to stimulate your skin to do the work in creating balance rather than relying solely on the products to do the job. As they are very gentle products they will not interfere with other products used however if one’s skin becomes out of balance it makes it harder to investigate what the problem is when you are combining a range of different products with different philosophies. Be ware of using too many different creams on your skin at the same time as you can confuse your skin unless you are very aware of the philosophy and action behind each cream that you are using.
